Four-Head UV Inkjet System for Large Variable Information Panels on Packaging and Industrial Materials

Large product-information layouts are often divided between several labels, coding positions or printing processes because a single printhead does not provide enough height.

IPS-6404 uses four RICOH G4 printheads to create a 129.6 mm total nominal print height.

This provides space to organize:

A Real Information Panel Instead of a Small Code Area

Smaller PIJ configurations are suitable when the customer only needs a compact code, date or limited variable information.

IPS-6404 is intended for a different requirement: a taller layout containing several information sections.

A typical 129.6 mm layout can be divided into:

UV Printing Configuration

The standard UV configuration includes a UV curing lamp. This allows the printed ink to be cured on selected non-porous surfaces.
