V437-D is a retort resistant black MEK ink qualified for use in the Videojet 1000 Line of continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers. This ink has been specifically designed for code durability through tough high-temperature steam retort and pasteurization processes used in cooking prepared food containers for shelf stability..

3. Applications:

 

This ink is ideal for metal cans and plastic/foil pouches of food that require a retort process including: vegetables, fruit, soup, sauces, baby food, meat/fish, and ready-to-eat meals. During the cooking process, containers can get stacked, causing codes to come in contact with other containers. In those situations, this ink is transfer-resistant.

V437-D delivers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of other substrates including: acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polystyrene, polyvinylchloride (PVC), polycarbonate, polyester, steel, and nylon.

No-MEK Low VOC (V930-Q) and no-MEK no Drug Precursor (V940-Q cleaners are available.
